Who Has Residency in Vegas 2026: Eagles, Backstreet Boys and Jennifer Lopez Lead a Crowded Strip Calendar
Who has residency in Vegas 2026 is a question with a crowded answer, as the Eagles, Backstreet Boys, Jennifer Lopez, Bruno Mars and a long roster of country, Latin and dance acts have all held extended runs on the Strip this year.
The Sphere at The Venetian remains the city’s marquee venue. The Eagles’ residency there stretched from January into March, while the Backstreet Boys carried their run into the first weeks of the year. Phish and Kenny Chesney both returned for second Sphere residencies, and Carín León and the recently reunited No Doubt joined the venue’s schedule with new shows.
Casino stages keep the traditional model alive
Away from the Sphere, resort theaters have continued to host the long-running residency format. Lopez opened the year at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace and returned for a block of March dates. Mars bridged 2025 and 2026 with late-December and early-January shows at Park MGM.
Country and rock acts filled much of the winter calendar. Blake Shelton performed through most of January, Santana followed in late January, and Def Leppard held a multi-week run through February. Marc Anthony, Hilary Duff and New Kids on the Block also played February dates, while Duran Duran, Zac Brown Band and Zayn Malik appeared in the opening weeks of the year.

Dance music runs on its own schedule
Club residencies operate separately from the concert calendar. Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub list Calvin Harris, Marshmello, Diplo, Kaskade, deadmau5, Dillon Francis, Gryffin, Mau P and Subtronics among their 2026 names. AYU Dayclub and Zouk Nightclub feature Alison Wonderland, Duke Dumont, James Hype, MEDUZA and RL Grime.
Beatport also launched its first Las Vegas residency this year, a 16-week series at Marquee Dayclub designed to give emerging DJs a path to a regular slot.
A major tourism driver
Music residencies remain a significant draw for the city. About one in five visitors travels to Las Vegas for shows, including concert residencies, according to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Visitors spent an average of about $322 on shows in 2024, up from $278 in 2023.
For artists, the format offers a fixed production and no touring logistics. For the resorts, a headliner with a loyal fan base can fill rooms across multiple weekends, lifting hotel, gaming and dining revenue.
Dates continue to shift
Many 2026 residencies were announced in waves, and dates have been added, extended or moved as the year has progressed. The Sphere has favored fewer, larger engagements built around its immersive screen, while casino theaters have continued to mix pop, country and Latin acts through the year.
The 2026 calendar reflects a broader trend. Residencies are no longer confined to veteran performers at the end of their touring careers. They now include active chart acts, reunited bands and international stars, which has widened the audience Las Vegas draws beyond its traditional showgoers.
