Female Fronted Violence Fest Returns to Club Hell — Three Days, One Uprising

Belgium's Club Hell in Diest is throwing down the gauntlet again this September with Female Fronted Violence Fest, a three-day celebration proving once and for all that female-fronted metal isn't a subgenre — it's a force of nature. Running September 4–6, 2026, FFVF brings together an international lineup spanning symphonic grandeur, gothic atmosphere, melodic death, and modern alternative edge, all united by the raw power of the women leading the charge.

Friday — The First Strike

The fest kicks off with Skeptical Minds, Belgium's own purveyors of dark, theatrical electro-metal, joined by Shatterheart's emotionally charged heavy riffing, Ancient Settlers' futuristic take on melodic death metal, and old-school warriors Hellcats bringing classic Slovenian heavy metal attitude to open the weekend right.

Saturday — Eight Flames, One Inferno

Saturday is stacked. Metaforya brings symphonic bombast and dramatic storytelling, while Abstracted Mind delivers progressive, dynamic alternative metal. Lokead's groove-driven energy, Arluna's atmospheric darkness, and Lyra's Hell's theatrical gothic-heavy sound round out a night built for intensity. Underwaves brings melodic metalcore hooks, Scarblade channels high-speed power metal with epic vocal work, and FlowerLeaf — Brazilian-born, German-based — closes with warm, emotionally rich symphonic melody.

Sunday — The Final Uprising

The weekend closes with Wicked Leather's fierce hard rock swagger, Orchid Sanction's dark melodic metal, Behind the Veil's haunting gothic arrangements, and Pirate Queen's theatrical, high-seas symphonic metal spectacle. One slot remains open — more on that below.

One Slot Left — Bands, This Is Your Call

FFVF is holding one final Sunday slot open for a band that embodies the fest's energy and diversity. Interested acts should email band name, country, a short bio, music and live footage links, and contact info directly to helldiest@outlook.be — applications are handled exclusively via email; no social media submissions will be considered.

Beyond this year's fest, Club Hell, Hell on Air, and Hellbound Fest are scouting talent year-round across symphonic, gothic, alternative, heavy, power, metalcore, and industrial genres. If your band wants in on future bookings, reaching out is the first step.
